FRANK ZAPPA – UNCLE MEAT DOUBLE LP
VERY RARE GERMAN ISSUE
IN EXCELLENT CONDITION
This is the extremely rare German only release of the 1969 Uncle Meat album on Reprise (MS2024) which was manufactured in Germany by TELDEC - Telefunken-Decca in Hamburg.
It is in stereo and comes in a laminated gatefold sleeve which is in MINT condition. Spine indicates MS2024.
The cover differs from other versions in that it has “mit 2 Langspielplatten nur DM 29" underneath the “The MOI” logo in the top left corner and the German manufacturers details inside the gatefold.
The 'steamboat' red and orange labels are very different to any others that I have seen on an Uncle Meat LP and are in MINT condition. Each label has GEMA printed in a rectangular box - a sign of a very early German issue.
The LPs are in excellent condition with just a few surface marks – it comes from my personal collection and has therefore been well looked after.
The German release did not come with a booklet – or at least my copy didn’t and I bought it from new.
