Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare 1st German pressing of Frank Zappa –Zappa in New York on the Discreet label, cat. no. DIS 69 204, with the rare “Punky’s Whips” credit on the cover.
Record one is in EX condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines only. Record two is in Near to Mint condition, there are almost no hairlines. The labels of both records are in EX condition, there are a few spindle marks only.
The cover is VG++ condition, there are a couple tiny crinkles along the seams and there is some very slight wear in the corners. But further there is nothing wrong with this cover, no writing, no rips or tears or other damage.
This is an extremely rare German first pressing of Frank Zappa – Zappa in New York with the “Punky’s Whips” credit on the cover. The record DOES NOT play this track, but we all know if you’d find a copy that does play Punky’s Whips, you’ve found a needle in a haystack... Only a cover with this credit is almost impossible to find, and a real must have for all Frank Zappa Collectors! Happy Bidding!
