Description
This is a very RARE PROMOTIONAL copy and original first, limited pressing of "London Symphony Orchestra Vol. 1" by the great FRANK ZAPPA. It was released in 1983 by Barking Pumpkin Records, USA # FW-38820. This album had a limited pressing of 6,000. This Promo copy is extremely rare. I purchased the album "brand-new", and as with most of my records, played it once and filed it away for safe keeping. It is in "near mint" (like-new) pristine condition. “Promotional Copy” is indicated on the labels. The album cover is in “excellent plus” condition. There is a gold promotional stamp on the back cover. There is a light crease on the front cover (see photos), and a tiny area where a small sticker was removed (front top right). The original inner sleeve is also included (no splits, but creasing). My date of purchase (5-9-1984) is lightly written in pencil on the inner sleeve. It is very easily erasable. A free plastic outer sleeve is included. This will be a very nice addition to your collection. I will combine shipping charges for multiple purchases.
