You are purchasing an album called FRANKENSTEIN, a George Garabedian Production of original radio broadcasts, product of Mark56 Records, produced in 1976.
Description: The jacket is in excellent condition with light edge and corner wear. There are no split seams.There is a yellow price sticker on the front cover just below the I in the title. I would grade it VG++.The vinyl record seems to have never been played as there are no marks, high gloss graded as a NM/MT.
"The Frankenstein Monster first stoked into the world in 1818 when an English publishing house named Lackington, Allen, and Co.issued an unimpressive looking novel in three slim volumes. The novel was titled FRANKENSTEIN;OR,THE MODERN PROMETHEUS. The identity of the author was a mystery, since FRANKENSTEIN was published anonymously.Because of various ideas expounded within the text, it was the consensus that the fame poet Percy Bysshe Shelley was the mantled author. Percy Shelley,it was later revealed, did not write FRANKENSTEIN. Almost as startling as the events in the story themselves was the revelation that this grisly tale of horror revenge was actually written by a nineteen year-old girl, the fragile Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin, who was to become Mrs. Percy Shelley.The novel that Mary wrote wouldeventually become the most famous and frequently read horror story of them all."
