FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS The Night / When The Morning Comes (uk Mowest MW 3002) original UK first press 7” single released October 1972.
Please note: this release was the very first UK press of this classic dancer which at the time slipped out completely un-noticed and was deleted within a few weeks of coming out (so I’m told). It sold virtually next to nothing and that’s the reason why copies don’t turn up very often. However a few years later after big plays up north it was absolutely massive and Mowest re-released it on MW 3024 in March 1975 due to demand from the northern soul scene. It eventually sold so many copies it reached No.7 in the National Charts.

Label: clean matt paper; original 4 prong centre fully intact; serated anti slip ridges; initials JW in pen on top side – Excellent minus
Record: good shine and gloss; light surface marks (double checked it by playing it through – it plays nice n loud with just the odd pop and click along the way. It would certainly benefit from a good clean) – VG++
