Description
"Autumn To May", W-R 1-69 and W-R 2-69, by Franklin & Hayes. This is the ORIGINAL Private release 1969 LP by Olmsted Falls, Ohio, duo Ron Franklin and Ann Hays. Issued in small quantities and very hard to find. Cover is VG+ or better with age toning and some wear to the top and bottom seams although they are not split. Name written on front cover. Back cover is signed by both artists. No holes, cut-out marks, split seams, stickers, etc. Glossy vinyl disc ranges in condition from VG- to VG+ or better. There are scuffs and scratches and the disc plays with varying levels of static, clicks and pops, some near the level of the music. The noisiest portion occurs on the 2nd half of side 1. I played this on an older system with a tone arm weight of 2 grams and there were no skips or repeats; it may play differently on a more sophisticated system.. Beautiful vocals and harmonies with 6, quite impressive, originals. Very enjoyable and quite rare, well worth having even with the audio flaws. Although not taken from this copy, the title cut, "Autumn To May", can be heard on YouTube. Postage combined on multiple LP or 45 wins. U. S. customers, insurance is provided at mm cost. International shipping is by Priority mail which is expensive, but provides tracking. I will pay the insurance costs based on final selling price.
