Franz Josef Hirt, born February 7, 1899 in Luzern, was a Swiss pianist. Studied  at the Conservatoy in Basel with Hans Huber and Emil Levy, 1919 professor at the Musikschule in Bern, later studies with Egon Petri in Berlin and Alfred Cortot in Paris. Since 1924 as solo pianist in the most countries in Europe, together with Maurice Ravel, Hans Pfitzner, Arthur Honegger and Paul Hindemith. Since 1930 professor at the Conservatory in Bern. He diet May 20, 1985.

Alfonse Brun, violin, born October 25, 1888, died March 27, 1963, studied at the Königliche Hochschule in Berlin, 1912 professor at the Musikschule Berlin, member of the Klingler-Quartett and the Adolf Busch-Quartett, found 1915 the Berner Stringquartett.

Lorenz Lehr, cello, born July 24, 1889 in Zürich, died April 29, 1959, studied with Hugo Becker at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Berlin. Since 1914 professor at the Conservatory in Bern, member of the Berner String-Quartett and of the Chamber Orchestra Radio Bern.

Album-Set with 4 records 12" electric Polydor 95286-89: Brahms, Trio in C major op. 87, in 7 parts / Mozart, Trio in G Major, 2nd movement - Andante. Recorded 1929 in Berlin. Condition: 1-2 / 2; Album VG+
