The German power trio ''Franz K'' was born back in 1969, made up of bassist and singer Peter Josefus, drummer Stefan Josefus and guitarist Mick Hannes, originally called Franz Kafka. At first the band begins playing heavy rock, blues rock, Hendrix type, typical of the bands of the time influenced by American black blues rock, as well as containing a strong political component, typical of the German bands of the time. A sound that they were expanding as they would get closer to the release of their first album.
His first work was released in 1972, in a limited number of copies and with a handmade cover, and later it was re-released, the same year, under Phillips and with a different cover. They somehow continued to reflect their early psychedelic influences but took them to transform and reinvent them into compositions of complex manufacture.
Basically the album is made up of two long tracks of about 20 min each, one track covering each side of the album, and it's nothing more than heavy elaborations where the band perfectly exposes their intentions, hard influences and their psychedelic inventiveness, with a heavy sound that combines blues rock, psychedelia, hard rock, aggressive german lyrics, riddled with heavy electric nonsense, wonderful heavy guitar jams with a heavy approach but unfolded in sophisticated and extensive compositions. As the pieces are so extensive, they become like maps, very extensive sound exhibitions where the band ends up pouring out everything they have, creating two impressive heavy psychedelic monsters.
