Condizioni : la copertina a foglio unico mostra sul retro due pezzetti di nastro adesivo con conseguenti tracce giallognole che sprovvedutamente sono stati collocati per fermare i lembi di carta apertesi a causa di due piccoli tagli, si veda, per cortesia, la scansione n° 2. L’originale busta interna della casa discografica, in cui è alloggiato il disco, presenta su un lato una scritta in lingua Giapponese: "yoru no keiji" che è il titolo del film in quella nazione e significa Polizia della sera. Bello stato, VG++ / il vinile ha uno scarabocchio sull'etichetta del primo lato, osservate la scansione n° 4. Un certo numero di segni superficiali non condizionano l'ascolto con l'eccezione di pochi modesti clicchettii; bello stato, VG++

Condition : cover sheet shows on the back two bits of tape with consequent yellowish traces, carelessly placed to paste the edges of paper which had opened up due to two minor cuts, please see the scan No. 2. The original inner sleeve of the record company, which houses the disc, has on one side an inscription in Japanese language: "yoru no keiji" namely the title of the film in that country and it means police in the evening, VG++ / vinyl has a scribble on the label of the first side, scan No. 4. A certain number of surface marks do not affect the listening  with the exception of a few light clicks, VG++

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : Bongusto e Poitevin, sebbene quest'ultimo non sia citato nei crediti del disco, in due ottimi brani dalle atmosfere accattivanti. Il primo è caratterizzato da un buon suono tendente al jazz espresso dal sassofono, vibrafono e piano, con l'orchestra in sottofondo e una ritmica sostenuta. Il secondo inizia lentamente con il suono delle tastiere, poi dopo un breve dialogo dal film tra Franco Nero e Florinda Bolkan, l'atmosfera sonora diventa tenebrosa con il pianoforte suonato in maniera ostinata e il supporto delle percussioni. Ancora un piccolo spazio per qualche improvvisazione jazzeggiante del vibrafono e il brano si conclude. L'intera colonna sonora venne pubblicata in CD dalla Avanz Records nel 1997.

Notes : Bongusto and Poitevin, though the latter is uncredited on the album, in two excellent tracks from attractive atmosphere. The first is characterized by a good inclination to jazz emitted by the sax, vibes and piano with the orchestra in the background and a lively rhythm. The second starts off slowly with the keyboards and after a short dialogue from the film between Franco Nero and Florinda Bolkan, the sound atmosphere becomes gloomy with the piano played persistently and the support of the percussion. There is still a little room for some jazzy improvisations of vibes and the track ends. The full soundtrack was released by CD by Avanz Records in 1997.
