THIS IS ONE OF A SUPERB COLLECTION OF ORIGINAL 1950'S, 1960'S AND 1970'S LPs THAT I WILL BE LISTING ON EBAY OVER THE COMING WEEKS. PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ANY,  BLUES OR FOLK LPS IN PARTICULAR AND I WILL TRY AND LIST THOSE ON EBAY NEXT.

Here is your chance to buy THE MEGA RARE album by FRED MCDOWELL + FURRY LEWIS which is titled "WHEN I LAY MY BURDEN DOWN" and is the MEGA RARE ORIGINAL USA RELEASE ON THE RARE AND COLLECTABLE BIOGRAPH RECORD LABEL (BLP 12017) and was made in 1970.

The album contains 13 great tracks including  7 TRACKS BY FRED MCDOWELL AND 6 BY FURRY LEWIS.

I AM GOING TO GRADE THIS VINYL  VG+  condition. I have just played it through and it sounds very nice  but does have some light background throughout which is more noticeable in a couple of tracks but very light noise can be  heard throughout. Some of the background noise  might be that the recordings had some background noise even when they were recorded onto this vinyl. The vinyl looks in VG+ condition visually with some  marks, scuffs and hairlines visible under bright light but any of these look to be only surface scuffs or marks. This is still in nice condition for a record  nearly  40 years old now but does play with light background noise and dont know if this was on the recordings before they were put on the LP...

The sleeve is in EX++ condition. The sleeve is in lovely condition. There is a small amount of wear to the top edge and a small number written in the top right corner of the back cover and as you can see from the pic it is  in WONDERFUL condition.  If you want anymore pictures of the LP please email me and i will send you some more pics. This is a BARGAIN STARTING PRICE.

The postage costs for this LP is £2.60 if in the UK and a bit more if elsewhere. I will reduce the postage costs for multiple purchases.
