Description

A copy of BREAKING POINT! by FREDDIE HUBBARD, with catalogue number BLP4172 on the Blue Note label.
I think that this is an original 1964 US imported pressing.

The vinyl is in brilliant condition. I have played this LP all the way through from start to finish and the audio is great. No jumps, or sticks and only very minor background noise which was hardly noticeable, even in the quiet moments. Apart from just a few of the usual light bag removal surface marks, there is just one feelable scratch on side one, but as I have said I have played it through and it does no affect the audio. The labels are clean and free from writing and just a few light spindle marks. It looks as though it has only had a few plays.
Side 1 matrix number is BNLP - 4172A scratched in by hand, it also has the words VAN GELDER machine stamped in run off
Side 2 matrix number is BNLP - 4172B scratched in by hand, it also has the words VAN GELDER machine stamped in run off
The vinyl grades as EX.

The cover is clean with no writing, there is however a small amount of scuffing mainly to the top edge, which also has a 30mm seam split at the opening. The other edges are sound. The back is pretty clean with some minor marks and a couple of surface scuffs. There is no ringwear evident. These heavy card American style cover don't usually wear very well but this one is in very decent condition and grades VG.

The inner sleeve is the original Blue Note one advertising other Blue Note releases. This is in great conditionwith no writing or rips and easily grades EX.

This is a really nice copy of a hard to find LP.
