Freddie Mercury Sculpture - IN STOCK - Brand New

The Freddie Mercury statue on Lake Geneva was sculpted by Czech artist Irena Sedlecka. Irena was a Laureate of the state in the early 50's and now lives in London. She is a fellow of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, and a member of the Society of Portrait Sculptors. The statue, standing 3 meters high, is situated in Montreaux Switzerland overlooking lake Geneva, and was unveiled on November 25th 1996 by Montserat Caballe. Piece is boxed - brand new in mint condition - Never been unpacked THIS SCULPTURE STANDS 18", (46cm) TALL (including base) and weighs just over 5 kilogrammes in it's packaging for despatch - hence the £10.35 postage charge

This is a 1/8th scale pewter based replica of this stunning work of art, which includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

The manufacturing process is quite unique, producing a beautiful piece of art with the look, weight and cold feel of solid metal.

The sculpture is cast in a special high density resin and thermal plated with lead-free pewter.

Each individual piece is hand polished by skilled craftsmen and lacquered to preserve the brilliant metallic finish.
