Visual grading
This vinyl does have numerous fine hairlines and one more obvious one on Side Two but they have little affect on the quality of the audio. There is only a minimal amount of spindle wear on each side.
Play grading
There is only a minimal amount of static during the 'Barcelona' intro and thereafter it plays with very strong audio and only very light static here and there. 'La Japonaise' has only some very light static again, the sound quality is excellent, and the quiet sections play extremely well. 'The Fallen Priest'' and 'Ensueno' both play with excellent clarity and with some light intermittent again. Yes I mention static a lot but it is not intrusive and even new vinyl can play with static/dust ticks let alone one that is nearing 30 years of age!
'The Golden Boy' again has light static here and there but the 'thicker' hairline on this track has no adverse affect at all. The classic 'Guide Me Home' has only light static again but is very much in the background. It remains an excellent listen. The very popular 'How Can I Go On' and 'Overture Piccante' both play extremely well with very little interference, especially the latter. A great end to the LP. There are no pops on either side and no jumps, skips.
Gatefold cover
The gatefold is in overall excellent condition but does have a little spotting near the top two edges. The top and bottom edge of the back cover has some minor rubbing and the corners also have a little wear but there is no major wear at all. Other than what I have mentioned the cover is very clean and the inside is immaculate.
The lyric inner
The lyric inner is in perfect condition, 100% Mint. A lovely example.
The labels
Both labels are in excellent condition with barely any spindle wear and no marks.
