Description
This rare first press of Barcelona is in excellent condition and plays extremely well. The vinyl looks superb and only has a couple of very faint hairlines, it has certainly been well looked after. There is a small smudge type on side Two but it does not affect the audio.
'Barcelona' on Side One does begin with a little static but this soon disappears and thereafter it plays with great clarity. The remainder plays very well with just a little intermittent static.
'The Golden Boy' plays with light crackle throughout but is not overly intrusive in my opinion. 'Guide Me Home' plays even more clearly with excellent audio and 'How Can I Go On' sounds even better! Barely no interference. 'Overture Piccante' plays very cleanly with a little static and I did hear two clicks at one point.
The gatefold whilst in overall excellent condition does have a little shelf wear here and there. The front cover looks as new really and the edges are also in superb condition. The edges on the reverse of the gatefold for some reason have a little more rubbing. The top opening edge does have a small crease which is more noticeable on the reverse of the cover. The wide spine is in excellent condition.

ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS. THEY ARE PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE ORIGINAL. THE COVER AND RECORD ARE THEN PLACED SEPARATELY INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.
