Description
This classic LP is in excellent condition and under a bright light I can only detect a few of the faintest hairlines. It has obviously been looked after well and very lightly played.
Side One plays with excellent audio. 'Barcelona' and 'La Japonaise' do play with a little intermittent crackle but it is only very quiet and not obtrusive in any way. The other two tracks are near to perfection with almost zero static. Stunning audio especially for 'Ensueno' when you consider how quiet this track is.
'The Golden Boy' has faint static here and there but plays with very clear audio, still a great listen. 'Guide Me Home' is simply stunning. Very slight static but wonderful audio, very near Mint really. 'How Can I Go On' plays in a similar fashion with minimal static again but perhaps isn't even worth mentioning! 'Overture Piccante' ends proceedings with wonderful clear audio again.
This has to be one of the best 'Barcelona' LPs I have heard. There is minimal static but it is only sporadic and very quiet at that so it does not interfere with the audio in my opinion. With no skips or jumps any fan would be happy with this in their collection.
The gatefold is in wonderful condition, almost like new, apart from minor rubbing on the corners of the spine and minimal shelf wear on a couple of edges. It is however one of the best gatefolds I have seen and at first glance it is in perfect condition.
The lyric inner is in perfect condition with no faults whatsoever.
