Originally recorded Los Angeles, December, 1952, and at the Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, February 28, 1955, this is a first mono issue from 1985 in sturdy cover on brown, translucent wax. No re-grind or spill-over is used anywhere in the manufacturing process, i.e., virgin vinyl, producing remarkable performance. Sound quality rivals the best of today's so-called "audiophile" labels.

The jacket shows minor wrinkle bottom left front surface, o/w no shelf wear (EX+ or better); labels and wax are clean (MINT) showing no marks of any kind, likely unplayed. The vinyl comes in original top-of-the-line poly inner sleeve and cover is enclosed in state-of-the-art 6-mil outer sleeve. Rare and beautiful piece.
