"BROWN SUGAR" - - FREDDIE ROACH QUARTET - - BLUE NOTE BLP 4168 - - SUPERB FUNKY JAZZ FROM THIS OUTSTANDING SOULFUL 4TET, ON ORIGINAL 1st PRESS BLUE NOTE RELEASE, WITH BLUE/WHITE NEW YORK LBLS, WITH VAN GELDER AND EAR IN THE RUN OUT WAX !!! - - With it's VG cover, (invisible neat taping to spine and some ringwear), and crisp clear sleeve notes, plus an EX disc, which although it has some marks, plays absolutely SUPERBLY and makes for wonderful exciting listening ! - - Freddie's MEGA swinging organ is accompanied by some knockout tenor work from Joe Henderson, with Eddie wright on guitar and Clarrie Johnston taking up the drum spoit, the result, AWESOME!!! - - A hard to find cult LP that when it usually turns up it is in unplayable condition, this is a nice find indeed ! - - As always, a NO RESERVE auction, so thanks for looking at us and good luck !!! - - £12.99
