Brilliant early 1970s issue of these great guitar-driven sides recorded for the KING label between 1960 & 1962. It is very clear listening to these tracks to hear Freddy's influence on such players as Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lonnie Mack, Peter Green, Mick Taylor etc. etc. etc.

On top of his guitar prowess and originality King was also a fantastic singer and a great writer.
