FREDERICK ROACH’s “All That’s Good,” RVG, DG, P, Blue Note BST 84190 Stereo Vinyl

This is the 1965, first edition, “VAN GELDER” stamped, Deep Groove, “P” pressing of FREDERICK ROACH’s “All That’s Good” on the "New York USA” labels of Blue Note BST 84190.  Musicians include Freddie Roach – organ, Conrad Lester - tenor saxophone, Calvin Newborn – guitar, Clarence Johnston – drums, Marvin Robinson, Phyllis Smith, Willie Tate - vocals.

VINYL plays very well, each side beginning with very light background surface noise which diminishes greatly as side progresses to near silence. Ensemble sections and vocals are clear, dynamic and strong. No skips. Very Good gloss. Surface is beautiful with only a couple non-feelable hairline marks.  (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The Deep Groove (one side only) “New York USA” labels are clean.   See photos.

OVER is in excellent shape. STILL IN SHRINKWRAP Corners worn. Spine and seams perfect. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23” back jacket shows very minor wear. “Sam Goody” sticker. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER. Record photographed before final clear rinse/dry.
