Description
This is an LP produced by the group FREE back in 1970 with the title "Fire And Water", produced by Island Records with a pink label. This was a group formed by Kossof, Rodgers, Kirke and Fraser, who first came to my attention in about 1969, and the LP was bought for my own collection way back then, when I was in my 20’s.
I don’t recall playing it very much, and the record and sleeve condition can be described as very good indeed for it’s age. There is some yellowing to the inner sleeve, but no damage that I can see, it is Stereo, number ILPS 9120 A/B, although of course I can’t guarantee how well it will play on modern equipment.
You will see from the photos that the tracks are Fire & Water, Oh I wept, Remember, and Heavy Load on Side 1, with Mr Big, Don’t Say you Love Me, and All Right Now, on Side 2. I remember “All Right Now” better than the Fire & Water track, I think that one has been released by other artists since.
