Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have a copy of the 'Free' 1970 release 'Fire and Water'.
The record is a first issue UK stereo pressing on the textured pink i Island labels.
Cat no ILPS-9120 The matrix A//1 B//1
Grading :
The record gleams under light and it has just a very few wispy marks either side. The record produces a beautiful crisp sound with hardly any interference. The textured record labels are lovely and clean with no writing etc.
The matt single cover is in EX condition. These notoriously fragile covers usually have tears, scuffs and pen marks etc. I'm happy to report this is a superb example with virtually no wear (even to the extremities ) and no ringwear etc.. The spine is fully legible and the cover lies flat. Please see the photo's.
If your the winning bidder could you please wait for invoice since the final price may mean I need to charge added postage. If your bidding from outside the UK I will only post via Track and signed methods. I'm selling lots more lps over the coming months from artists like Jimi Hendrix , The Beatles , Cream , The Rolling Stones, The Who , The Yardbirds , The Small Faces , Van Morrison , The Grateful Dead , Jefferson Airplane , Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention , Fleetwood Mac , Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple , Black Sabbath , Oasis , Nirvana , Blur , etc plus lots of rare one-off lps.
