THE BYRON ALLEN TRIO LP - On ESP-Disk Records #1005. Rare stereo 12" LP with pristine labels. "EAR" engraved in the trail-off on both sides. Thick, heavy vinyl; thick cardboard cover. The personnel: Byron Allen/alto sax; Ted Robinson/drums; Maceo Gilchrist/bass. The vinyl is visibly in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful gloss), virtually unplayed, absolutely stunning!! It plays occasionally with some light crackle audible only in some softer passages. The songs are: Time Is Past; Three Steps In The Right Direction; Decision For The Cole-Man; Today's Blues Tomorrow. The cover is in excellent shape with tight seams, displays wonderfully. There are NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.
