PINK ISLAND EYEBALL TEXTURED RIDGED LABEL.
UK 1970 ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING .

What a fantastic LP. 100% a rare and GENUINE FIRST PRESSING ! The proof of that lies in the PINK EYEBALL TEXTURED RIDGED label . The label itself is rough to touch and if you look to the label edge about 4 mm in you will see it is ridged .(Double click the pictures) later 1970 pressings the label was smooth to the touch and where this FIRST PRESSING has the ridge, second pressings were beveled and were missing the PINK ISLAND EYEBALL that you see here on the left hand side of the label. The labels are very clean although there is a name written  on side One. The vinyl has retained a very high luster sheen to both sides and has only a tiny number  of feint hairlines to both sides and I would grade the vinyl as a strong EXCELLENT . This very heavy  slab of 70s vinyl plays BOLD CLEAR and LOUD with no faults at all . Side one matrix markings are  ILPS+9089+A2 and side 2 bares ILPS+9089+B2 . The original gate fold sleeve I would grade as  very good+ due to the wring ware and slight markings visible if you double click the pictures. That would be a very strict grading the sleeve is in pretty good shape (the inside is exceptionally clean and bright) so overall a very impressive sample of a true first pressing rare record that is seldom seen these days and with no reserve !

All my records are housed in Mobile Fidelity Mastering Sleeves.

This prevents further paper scuffs marking the vinyl when removing  the record from the original inner sleeve and prolongs the condition  of the original inner sleeve.
