Description

Recorded in 1929 and originally released (as Beale Street Washboard Band) on Vocalion 1403, the combination of Herb Morand (cornet), Johnny Dodds (clarinet), Frank Melrose (piano), and Baby Dodds (drums) laid down these two bouncy little tracks: “Piggly Wiggly” and “Forty and Tight”.


This record will come to you in the 12” sleeve you see behind it. (Because that’s what we have.)
