Description
You are bidding on an original UK pressing of Free - Tons Of Sobs LP. This is the very rare original 1st pressing PINK Island label - 1st pressing with the 1st press unLAMINATED gatefold sleeve!! This is the very earliest issue of this LP!! IT'S A UK stereo ORIGINAL with textured labels - It has the initial Black and Orange ball label design - that was only initially avaliable on the earliest of pressings! it's never been reissued since with this label, so these copies are incredibly- considering Free were pretty unknown at this point as this was their debut LP - when Free had become sucessful the label design had changed to the PINK i logo !!!! INCREDIBLY RARE!!! ILPS 9089! Very earliest pressing with textured labels!! This comes from my own collection, as I am downsizing and my loss is your gain! This album is graded fairly using Record Collector grading.
Sleeve grades EX (very light handling wear only - the best sleeve I have ever seen!!) and the record grades EX- (-) (some marks here and there - it plays great - again it's one of the best copies I've seen of the first press record - they are usually all over played and very worn!!)
If you're looking for a Mint copy - this isn't it - but is still worthy of being in any collection!
