LABELS: The labels are BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN and BRIGHT and have NO marks/unwanted writing (please see photos)
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces have their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN. There are some marks on the surfaces, none of which are feel-able to the touch - these have little audio consequence (see detailed audio assessment below)
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely SENSATIONAL - CRYSTAL CLEAR, DEEP, RICH, VIBRANT SOUND. Unbeatable depth and clarity on these first presses simply not found on later issues. There are NO scratches, NO sticks or jumps and barely any clicks or pops (really, hardly any). There is a mark on Side Two beginning on "Moonshine" and continuing into the run-off but this is of practically NO audio consequence. The album plays to a very high standard with SUPERB AUDIO CLARITY, NO groove-wear and NO distortion and must be very critically graded at least an EXCELLENT for audio. TREMENDOUS LP and NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page). EXCELLENT FIRST PRESS COPY WHICH SOUNDS SENSATIONAL THROUGHOUT
SLEEVE: The original matte EJ DAY gatefold cover (w/ 2 circle logos on the reverse) is CLEAN and BRIGHT with NONE of the usual ring wear associated with this sleeve. There is some light surface rubbing but nothing major and only light edge wear. The spine is straight and true and displays all text CLEAR and BOLD. The inside has some light age related 'foxing' spots but again, very minor (please see close-up photos). EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF THIS EASILY WORN FIRST PRESS SLEEVE
