On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Free called "Tons Of Sobs" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Pink Island 'Circle' label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS FREE'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ISLAND 'CIRCLE' LOGO LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Island UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is ILPS 9089 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Pink Island label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall and plays BRILLIANTLY!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few VERY light hairlines, only 3 or 4 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! And despite the few light lines on the vinyl - this record is VERY shiny looking indeed!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays EVEN BETTER than the visual with NO nasty loud pops, only a VERY few EXTREMELY low level clicks (mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Good++++ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and plays even better still!!!! And PLEASE NOTE!!!! Despite this records VERY strict grading - all it really has is a few VERY light lines, and VERY shiny deep black glossy vinyl!!!! So please believe me when I say that this grading does NOT mean 'trashed', and there is NO deep or heavy marks AT ALL, and NO general scuffing either!!!! THIS RECORD ALSO PLAYS VERY WELL INDEED!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Gatefold Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has only some slight 'touching in' to the edges & spine, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), only some slight rubbing/ringwear, NO sticker tears, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good(Minus) if not better - with NO major defects!!!! So please DONT underestimate this LP in any way!!!! This LP may not be MINT - but it is of the UTMOST RARITY, and this is a VERY presentable example that plays VERY well indeed!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
