If you are looking for a top copy of this - look no further! It's in collectable condition - you won't be disappointed. Record shows little sign of play.
Recorded and first issued in 1969, this is on the Island Pink Rim ‘Palm Tree’ label. The record is in excellent condition with no bad marks. I have played it and it plays fine. (unlike some ‘visual only’ eBayers!). The feintest of background on run-in, usual for vinyl.
The matt Gatefold Sleeve by Ernest J. Day & Co. is in great conditon with just mega-light rubbing on the edges. No wear to either front or back. Inside is mint.
Includes the original green ‘Island’ inner sleeve which has a little writing on.
A landmark album that fused hard rock and the blues. Although Free were only together for six months they left this album which didn’t attract much attention on release but now realised as a classic. Perhaps the most stunning and noticeable thing about Free’s debut album is Paul Kossoff and his outstandingly superb guitar work. Kosoff sadly died seven years after this album’s release, and it obviously influenced groups such as Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.
