Description
Original 1967 U.S. stereo press of LP on Monitor label
THE FREEBORNE titled "Peak Impressions"
promotional copy ~ white label & sticker on front ~ see scans
CONDITION:
cover: VG+
lite shelf wear/soiling ~ lite wear/fray to edges & corners
small lite bump to upper edge ~
top edge is split & has small bits of top/edge paper missing
at center for approximately 5" to 6"
vinyl: VG+(+)
a few lite paper sleeve marks/scuffs & a bit of very lite groove wear on several cuts
& a couple of tiny minor surface marks ~ side 2 has a long, but lite, needlemark/hairline &
a small surface scratch on one of the cuts deep enough to be felt with fingertips ~
~ makes a few lite low level clicks throughout he song ~ remainder is all superficial surface
remainder plays excellent, but, with 4 or 5 odd soft lite clicks on the last cut of side 2 ~ thereafter
only an odd soft click here & there & a bit of occasional lite low level surface noise ~
noticeable between some of the cuts & in some of the quieter moments
great Bosstown psych gets very positive review from Joynson's
psych reference "Fuzz, Acid & Flowers": "...excellent ~ full of the
acid imagery that typified the Bosstown sound in 1968. Almost
every track is of interest"
