Description

This is a very rare and powerful documentary by the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee about the civil rights movement in Albany ,Georgia in 1961-62. It features the powerful speech "The Eagle Stirreth Her Nest" by the Rev. Ben Gay. The original idea and field work was done by Guy Caraway.

The album recalls a very significant era in black history which has paved the way of success for many if not all of today's African American leader's.Not many of these albums were released and it is extremely rare to find one in such great condition. This one being graded as vg++(very well kept record with only a very  few light scuffs) condition.

The cover is very clean. Also has original pamphlet by The Student Voice (very well kept) of some of the top news topics in the area. This is truly a very rare and great treasure for the serious collector of black history. Please read carefully and feel free to ask any questions before bidding/buying.

ss = still sealed  album has never been opened

m = mint  only on very very rare occasion will I use this grade. (example: sealed album would have to be  opened and inspected to receive this grade)

nm = near mint  almost perfect. shiny with no visible defects, writings, or markings. Looks as though it has never been played.

vg++= very good plus plus-close to near mint

vg+ =  very good plus - very little but obvious wear (light scuffs or scratches)

vg = very good- more obvious flaws (not in as good shape as vg+) will not sell individual albums below this grade. (records of lower grades will usually be a throw in)
