WONDERFUL RECITAL BY THIS WRONGFULLY UNKNOWN VIRTUOSO, AND HIS ONLY KNOWN LP
AT FIRST A PUPIL OF JARZEMBSKI IN POLAND, THEN OF THIBAUD, BOUCHERIT AND CHAILLEY, HE DID WON THE CONSIDERATION OF THE WHOLE PARIS CONSERVATORY, AND OF ENESCO !
The recording is warm and clear, as the violin.
There are very few informations about this violinist, born in Poland, who became in his youth a french citizen. He has toured many places in Europe.
revised: a wrong letter in the violinist's name (title)
SLEEVE CONDITION : VG+ (light rubbing wear spots on spines, light handling marks, but NO TEAR OR SEAM SPLIT). Comes with its original french Decca inner rice paper sleeve, very fresh with only one 7 cm seam split.
RECORD CONDITION : first side G+ (shiny surface, very quiet background but playgrading shows few random light single cracks, very few light-to-average ones, mostly on the last piece (Stravinsky) which has at the very end 3 average ones) ///// second side VG (shows superficial scuffs, but plays EX except very few single ticks or very light cracks). Labels are clean with barely 1-2 soft spindle nails near center holes ; the LP has not been often played and has no scratches but only superficial scuffs and probably tiny dust accidents, barely noticeable.
Playgraded in stereo: should play better with mono equipment.
We try to playgrade exactly. Great listening if not top condition, and a not to be missed LP, despite occasional noises not seriously affecting the deep clear sound, and with regards to its true rarity.
