This is a SUPER RARE original vinyl pressing of psych/prog classic "FRESH MAGGOTS" by FRESH MAGGOTS on RCA Records UK (SF 8205) from 1971. Tracks are: Dole Song // Rosemary Hill // Quickie // Everyone’s Gone To War // And When She Laughs // Balloon Song // Guzz Up // Who’s To Die // Elizabeth R // Frustration. The condition of vinyl is NEAR MINT (no bubbles or blobs on the vinyl) and the cover is VG+++ to excellent (just a little ring wear on the back). Here is some info about it from the internet: One of THE most collectible psych LPs of all...this is a beauty...musically it's extraordinary - as though Tractor's tour bus has had a head on collision with Magna Carta's - beautiful folk harmonies mixed with some serious fuzzed guitar wig-outs... This is a revolution in the psychedelic folk of the seventies and we must admit that was very hard to make something of so completelly new in the music of seventies because many little dejà vu are presents in the seventies music, but this is normal because sixties was before so...but this album it's really a special thing. The more incandescent fuzz guitar you can imagine, played by the 19 years old Mick Burgoyne between and over an acoustic melodic musical texture based on the 19 years old Leigh Dolphin's 6/12 strings guitars and with 2 sublime thin whistles too...then glockenspiel, violin but really the words can't describe nothing here...we are in the front of a masterpiece!!! Male vocal it's great...music it's dense and emotive, no matter this is along with Spirogyra/Bells...the best psych folk album in the period.
