FRUIT OF THE ORIGINAL SIN Disques Du Crepuscule VINYL x2 Durutti Column etc
The Fruit Of The Original Sin.
Double compilation LP with tracks by the Durutti Column, the French Impressionists, Orange Juice, Arthur Russell, Marguerite Duras, William Burroughs, et al.Original issue 1981 Belgium pressed Les Disques Du Crepuscule stereo double LP housed in gatefold sleeve, TWI 035.
Has the distinctive "SZOTLAN SZERELMED VESZEEIBEN VAN MINDING" etching to run-off/dead wax area.
Includes gatefold insert.
Rare in this original vinyl format, and only the second release on the label.
Vinyl near mint. Spider trail marks around the spindle areas indicates just one or two plays. LPs have been very well cared for and have glossy and unmarked playing surfaces.
Labels are clean and undamaged.
LPs are housed in generic paper die-cut sleeves.
Gatefold insert generally EX, and free of tears or creases. Just the merest touch of faint browning spotting to top right corner of main front panel only.
Sleeve a strong VG plus. No sticker or pen marks. A touch of storage ringwear darkening, but only lightly so. Slight creasing and a touch of dinking to bottom left corner. There is a round hole punch near the entry side of the front panel, about two inches down from the top. This only affects the single panel. Edges and entry side clean and crisp and no fraying or seam splits. Tips just gently rubbed. Spine still in good shape and with fully legible lettering. Inner of gatefold is very clean and bright.
All in all, a nicely preserved issue of this scarce set.
