Description

FRUMIOUS BANDERSNATCH: Hearts To Cry/Misty Cloudy/Cheshire (Muggles Grammophone Works PHR/1967)

Nice original copy of legendary San Francisco psych monstrosity. Comes in the hard cover mini-LP sleeve, and is on translucent red vinyl (seen as such when held up to light).

The cover is VG+. There is a 3 1/2" split on the top seam starting at the opening and a 2 1/2" split on the bottom seam in the center. The spine is intact without any damage or wear except for some cardboard showing on the bottm corner. There are a few dirty looking small areas on the back and some hints of very light ringwear on front. This all sounds a lot worse than it actually looks (see photos), therefore the + grade.

The record looks Ex (a few light scuff marks on the first side), plays Ex (some light crackling at very beginning of 1st song, otherwise plays cleanly).

See my other auctions for more garage and psych 45s. Lots of good fuzz to be heard here.

Some sounds will be added early in the week

GENERAL INFO

SHIPPING: Shipping costs will be quoted based on cost for estimated weight plus $1.00 to cover most of the cost of packing materials.

All records are packed in in between two cardboard filler pads and shipped in professional cardboard mailing boxes. All unsealed  12" records are taken out of their covers to prevent seam splitting. If there is a custom inner sleeve, the record will be put in a separate white inner. If a 7" record comes in a picture sleeve, the same procedure is followed.

GRADING: I grade records both visually and audibly. As grading is so imprecise and subjective, I don't have a set grading description like you see listed in many auction and collector magazines. My grades for  records and covers are based on the overall conditions I describe in each auction; I will note any visual defects and (for the vinyl) any non-musical sounds (pops, clicks, skips, etc.).
