Description

Stunning Original 1971 UK Pegasus 1st Pressing 'Fuchsia' by Fuchsia. Stunning Chunky Vinyl in Beautiful Ex+ Condition with 1st Press Pegasus Labels!!! Complete with Original 1st Press E.J. Day Textured Sleeve!!! A Very Rare Album Indeed and Virtually Impossible to Find in This Condition!!!!

You are bidding on a a very rare UK Progressive-Folk LP called 'Fuchsia' by Fuchsia. This is a fantastic record to listen too, quite unlike most other acid/progressive folk records you will ever hear... It hardly sold any copies at all back in 1971 and very few copies were ever pressed. This is thus a very rare record, that only turns up very occasionally, even on eBay. What's more, this vinyl is stunning Condition!!! The cool 1970's chunky vinyl is visually and aurally stunning!!! It shines with that 'just pressed' look and feel!!! I want to give you every detail of this rare record, no matter how small, so check out the description and pictures below and if you are not sure of anything just ask... It really is an awesome 1st press copy of a  very cool LP that just never shows up today - It's as simple as that - the original UK Pegasus 1st pressing of 'Fuchsia' by Fuchsia. Complete with it's original textured E. J. Day sleeve!!! Copies of this record have all but disappeared now in the UK, and to find one in this vinyl condition is almost impossible!!! - don't miss out on this opportunity...

Cat No:

PEG-8

Dead Wax Info:

Side 1 -  PEG 8 A-1U

Side 2 - PEG 8 B-1U

This vinyl is in amazingly pristine condition!!! The Classic 1st press Pegasus Records centre labels are absolutely stunning!!! They have NO Tears, NO Scribbles. NO lifting or Bubbling and NO unwanted writing of any kind to whatsoever - I can just see a trace of ONE light spindle line on side A and NOTHING on side B at all!!! The thick & chunky super-heavy 1st (and only) press vinyl is also in superb condition!!! It has NO Scratches, NO scuffing, NO Groove-wear and NO warping!!!  There is just ONE wispy hairline in each side, both virtually invisible unless holding the record angled toward a window. The thick quality pressed chunky 1970's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!) This record easily grades as Excellent+ even by my own strict grading standards (most would grade much higher). The 1st press E,J, Day un-laminated and textured sleeve gatefold does show some wear, as is very common with this fragile sleeve. It does show heavy war to the edges and spine, with the spine text worn off. However it has No Seam splitting to any seams or the spine. It also looks like somebody has 'blacked in' a previous label sticker mark (it was not me!) in the top left corner. However it was a fairly good colour match and this is only really noticeable when holding the sleeve angled toward a light source. There is also some warping to the sleeve, possible from being stored in a previously damp environment (I purchased this record second hand some years ago). All in all, this sleeve is not up to my normal standard but this records rarity value (plus the stunning vinyl) more than makes up for it. The sleeve grades as Very Good- Believe me, like all our other records this is in no way over-graded!!! The LP comes complete with its Original 'Made in England' and 'Patents' text  inner sleeve which is in Excellent condition.

I have tried to show you the record from all angles - there's nothing to hide!!! If you are not sure of anything just email me - I will be happy to help. Don't underestimate the rarity of this LP - finding the original 1971 UK Pegasus pressing of this LP is almost impossible today - especially in this kind of vinyl condition!!! Good Luck!!!

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.
