ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! –
Factory Sealed
One of the first commercially available direct-to-discs ever released in Japan, this edition features Jun Fukamachi on a Type D Steinway, and does it ever sound “alive.”
To start, side 1 gives us Chopin’s NOCTURNE IN E FLAT, and delivers so mightily you might find yourself endlessly adrift in your listening room. (The piano boards here are stunning in their sounding, very crisp and deep.)
Side 2 lets Fukamachi breathe out some with JUST DRIVING YOU CRAZY, RAN-MAN, and DON’T SHOOT ME, I’M ONLY THE PIANO PLAYER.
A very rare audiophile find, with stellar sound, here factory sealed. (Note a tear in the shrink-wrap, which has not resulted in any damage.)
Entirely worthy of the finest vinyl library. Incredible transparency.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
