This is a USA first pressing original copy of Free your mind and your ass will follow by George Clintons genius band Funkadelic who later became Parliament of the Funkadelic. Being that this is a USA made LP the card stock is very thick as were most of the US sleeves in the 60s and 70s. Double click the pictures  you can see a section has been sliced away bottom left corner. This was another sign of the times who ever in the record company came up with such a brilliant scheme of mutilating something you have  just made simply because it is for the export market seems lidicrous to me but this is what they did in the US back then. The original inner sleeve is here it shows a few creases but not bad ! There is various areas of ware to the sleeve both inside and outside of the jacket double the pictures . The spine has ware but the spinal writing can still be read. The majority of the sleeve is very bright and  clean. So overall the sleeve is  Very Good +.
The record labels are in great condition really clean. The vinyl does have some hairlines but nothing  that you can feel and the LP I can confirm plays all the way without jumps skipping or sticking. There are no areas that hold hissing or background noise and this is where this album comes into its own it plays really well indeed.  I am grading it a very conservative Very Good plus but it plays much better. A nice pressing of what really is a fantastic LP.  Funkadelic are a very underrated band and original pressings bring decent money in the US and are pretty rare to see them over here appearing for sale.  I have put another couple of Funkadelic LPs up later today so please have a look.
