Description

This auction is for a Reel to Reel MASTER TAPE of "Let's Take It To The Stage," the title track to the 1975 Westbound LP.  There are two tracks on this tape, "Let's Take It To The Stage" and "Stuffs and Things".  It appears this was recorded November 15, 1972 (see tape) as a 15 ips Dolby Master on 1/4 INCH tape.  However, there are references to 1971, May 3, 1976, and another track "Biological Speculation."  It is best if you click the link below and see all pictures related to this item, so that you can make a judgment for yourself.

CORRECTION MADE: My answer to the buyer question below was 1/2 inch tape.  I discovered this is incorrect.  This is on 1/4 inch tape, the standard size for masters.  Sorry for the confusion.  Please note that my other auction, FUNKADELIC Standing on the Verge MASTER TAPE, is also for an item on 1/4 inch tape.

This is 10.5" in diameter.  I cannot guess whether this is a 2-track master mixdown or a multiple track master mix.  Again, I have not listened to this.  I strongly recommend that buyers purchase shipping insurance.  I will pack this carefully, using bubble wrap and thick cardboard.
