Maggot Brain

(Janus 6310 201) 1971



Boasting one of the greatest cover images of all time, this proved as hard as anything to find when I was trying to buy obscure UK pressings of US LPs. It's on Janus, which was handled by Philips in the UK. 


SLEEVE CONDITION: The fully laminated sleeve is in VG shape, with a small repaired spine split (not by me) and a tear on the rear opening edge (see image). It still looks pretty good, though, and the spine text is complete and legible.


DISC CONDITION: This is also VG. It has various marks but plays through nicely, with only minor surface noise. The side one label looks like it has black pen rings on it (see image), but in fact these are printed. Maybe some sort of promo designation?
