You are bidding on "KASSIE JONES Part 1 and Part 2" by FURRY LEWIS on VICTOR 21664 recorded August 28, 1928 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Walter E. "Furry" Lewis was born in Greenwood, Mississippi in 1893 and died in Memphis, Tennessee in 1981 at the age of 88.
Condition: Looks EX-, plays VG+. Has good fidelity. No scratches, one small light scuff on Part 1. Those lines on the labels may look like cracks but they aren't. When I bought this 40 years ago, there was a sticker over the dog and phonograph on each label. I carefully removed them but the gilt came off with the labels. Doesn't help the appearance but looks better than with the stickers. I have carefully cleaned this with only a wet, soft cloth.
I am getting up in years and am selling my small collection, as my children and grandchildren are not interested.
