You´re bidding on the LP:
Schumann - Symphony No. 4 in d minor op. 120 (Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft LP 16063, Germany 1953)Wilhelm Furtwängler conducting Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
Very rare original ED1 pressing DGG tulips labels ("Alle Rechte..."!), matrix date in runout groove 17.6.53 (side 1) resp. 19.6.53 (side 2), in stitched/sewn polylined gatefold sleeve (dated 9.53!!).

Condition cover: Shows some more or less strong browning outside (due to paper/lamination material) and little browning / light spotting in parts of inside (probably also due to material)), otherwise fine with few light crease marks only and a small sticker round spine, NO writing, wear, tears, splits etc.
Condition labels: NM
Condition record: small (hardly visible) scuff causes a couple of light tics short before end of 1st movement, visually close to NM otherwise (hardly ever played with bright and glossy surface, few light and hardly visible hairlines/scuffs from inner sleeve which do NOT affect playing), plays fine with the usual occasional light background crackle or tic of those vintage pressings (graded with stereo cartridge)

All items are send in solid cardboard mailers especially designed for shipping records with additional layer(s) of cardboard for stiffening and protection. I don´t use flimsy wrappers or aircraft pockets. Vinyl (protected by inner sleeve) will be removed from cover to prevent seam splits. Extra strong packaging (double mailers etc.) is available on request but will probably cause higher postage, please ask before paying if interested.
Payment is expected within 1 week after the auction´s close.
Grading: All items are graded visually (under strong light source) and acoustically (at least spot checked). I use the standard grading system (M/NM/EX/VG/G...) to give an overall impression of the item´s condition added by a more precise statement of all occurring defects. I´ll only grade a record (or cover)as MINT if it is visually immaculate and unplayed (or if I´m sure that it was only played 2 or 3 times). All my gradings are guaranteed, if you´re not satisfied please contact me, send the record back and you´ll receive full refund (less postage). So bid with confidence.
