THE BERLIN PHILHARMONIC PLAYS -
Excerpts from the soundtrack of the Ambassador Films motion picture, "Symphony"
Wilhelm Furtwangler rehearses Schubert - Symphony #8, and performs (in live concert, apparently) Strauss - Till Eulenspiegel.
Sergiu Celibidache performs Beethoven - Egmont Overture and the finale of Mozart - Symphony #40.
There are also fragments of the Coriolan & Meistersinger Overtures, with no conductor identified.
Finally, there are brief moments during which Edwin Fischer plays the piano and Feodor Chaliapin sings.

Very scarce, mono-only issue from the early 1950's; LP and jacket both in near-mint condition
