Description

This is the early FUSE album which featured two original members of Cheap Trick- Rick Nielsen and Tom Petersson (spelt Peterson here). This album came out in 1970 and has a psychedelic/acid rock style (very similar to Iron Butterfly). It doesn't sound anything like Cheap Trick but does have that signature chunky and melodic bass style. I'm guessing Petersson used an 8-string Hagstrom bass on this album.

If you look at the picture of the band on the back, Rick Nielsen is the tall lanky guy on the far left with long stringy hair. Tom Petersson is the guy in the middle.

This original album is still sealed! I don't know how many pressings this album had, but the track listing has only the 8 original groovy songs unlike the recent reissue. This record is on the Epic label, number BN26502.
