Very rare and highly sought after prog gem!! Named after a mythical Irish warrior, this quartet arose from the ashes of beat band the Shake Spears in 1968. Their sole album showcases their distinctive blend of organ-driven prog, hard rock and country-rock over 11 tracks. It appeared in July 1970, apparently without their consent, and sank without trace. It has gone on to become a very considerable rarity!!

Vinyl: EX+.  Both surfaces retain their original deep, glossy sheen.  There are a couple of the usual sleeve retraction paper scuff traces only visible under a strong lightsource. There are no marks. Just one wispy hairline on side 2 which is inaudible, the record sounds sensational. This has clearly barely been played and has no spindle traces or any wear on the spindle hole!
 Outstanding audio delivery in all respects with a crystal clear, deep, rich, warm and detailed sound and on playback at a loud volume (which is how I always listen to my LPs prior to listing and it's always an immense pleasure to return to this one) there is barely any surface noise. This is a beautifully clean pressing (and I must emphasise again how difficult it is to find a copy which plays this well). The whole LP sounds absolutely great and plays to a high standard with superb clarity, no groove-wear and no distortion and is very strictly graded a strong EX+  for audio without anything untoward, no static or crackle at all - great copy!! Of course, NO skips, NO jumps, NO ticks.

 Sleeve: EX++.  A splendid example of this very hard to find LP. A great well looked after copy without any issues bar one tiny pen mark near the nozzle, blink and you'll miss it. Near perfect edges with only the lightest of wear and an extremely crisp opening. The spine is fully legible. It will be a tough task to still improve on this copy. Of course NO creases, NO tears, NO writing.
