Description

This is Fairport Convention's 4th album and perhaps one of their best with the late, great Sandy Denny on vocals. Released in late 1969 this is the 1st press issue on the very rare PINK ISLAND label and is a fantastic copy.

The gatefold un-laminated sleeve is in SUPERB condition. All edges are firm and square. There are NO creases NO marks at all that I can see and only light wear to the top and bottom edges and spine . The un-laminated inner of the gatefold has various pictures and stories of how folk songs came into existence and is as NEW!!!. I grade it as EXCELLENT.

The vinyl is lovely and shiny like the day it was pressed. Both labels are virtually spotless with NO writing and only a few spindle lines. I can only imagine this has been played a few times in the last 37 years!! There are NO Scratches or scuffs and even in the harshest of lights I can detect only light hairline paper lines!!!!. I confidently grade it MINT-.
