Fairport Convention – Liege & Lief, 1969 LP Island ILPS 9115.

This is a nice example of the LP Liege & Lief by Fairport Convention. It was released on the Island label in 1969 – ILPS 9115. The matrix numbers and in -A1 and -B1. The playing surfaces grade as EX. PLEASE NOTE that side two has a sort of patch dull appearance it places that I think has been caused by it being stored in a certain type of poly-lined inner-sleeve. Sometimes these sort of react with the surface. I have played it through and this does not affect play at all. The first side is fine. I have replaced the inner-sleeve with a more modern one. The non-laminated gatefold cover shows slight rubbing at the corners. There are a couple of small grubby marks at the top edge. It is nice and stiff and has no writing anywhere. It grades as close to EX.
