This is a First Press of this LP that tells the tale of Fairport Conention from 1968 to 1972, featuring the groups' chosen tracks from their first four LPs, being  ''What We Did On Our Holidays'', ''Unhalfbricking'', ''Liege & Lief'', ''Full House'', ''Angel Delight'' and ''Babacombe Lee''.

First Pressed in 1972 at EMI, Hayes and with the original Green Ribbon Seal, on the front of the cover, as opposed to later red ribbons and blue, denoting later presses. This also has the low Mother & Stampers associated with EMI that appear in the run off areas on all four sides, notably:

 Side One, Mother 1, Stamper 'P', being '6'. Side Two, Mother 1, Stamper 'GL', being '18'. Side Three, No Mother, Stamper 'GT', being '19'. Side Four, Mother '1', Stamper 'R', being '2'.

This also has the famous or infamous ''Porky & Pecko'' signatures in the run off areas of the vinyl, being either the Engineer who mastered the LP or one of the Pressing Plant Managers, but these names were famous for many years, on selected First Press LPs.

The vinyl is in lovely condition and is that heavy EMI pressing, with a deep black lustre. The vinyl is in superb condition, with very little in the way of surface rubs or marks, usually by the paper inners. The spindle holes show minimal rub traces, where the record has been placed on the turntable and the two records just look lovely and cared for, and I would say Excellent.

The inner sleeves are crisp, and un-marked, without damage or splitting.

The outer sleeve is both intact and complete, with its prized Green Ribbon Seal in place and the story book within the LP, with photos, notes and all relating to the LP. I think the outer sleeve is in top condition, too, being Excellent, without damage, marks and no writing or stickers! The spine is strong and without wear and there is minimal corner wear, too.

This is a lovely, complete, cared for LP and in superb condition, too!
