Description
Well-used but generally presentable and rare first pressing copy of Fairport’s classic 2nd album, dating from late 1968/ early 1969. It will do fine until that NM copy comes along. Matrices are a straight A/B. The current RRPG for a Mint copy is now £250!
Sleeve G+/VG- Front laminated, as were all the first pressing copies. A little worn and creased but intact. Some lettering on the spine survives but there is a small seam split about halfway down. Some old tape residue along the opening edge.
Labels Ex- Clean, with some dulling around the spindle hole. Plenty of spindle traces. No marks or writing.
Inner Ex Polylined bag – not the original.
Records Visually G+/VG, quite a nice shine to the vinyl. Light hairlines and scuffs on both sides but nothing deep or serious. The album plays really well throughout with no sticks or jumps. Not too much crackle either. I would grade the audio as VG/VG+.
