Description

This is a 2 volume 33 rpm LP record set titled “Rings For Sale” or “Seller of Rings” (Le Vendeur de Bagues), a Lebanese musical by the Rahbani Brothers, sung by Fairuz with Nasri Shamseddine (Chamsedine).  The records were recorded in 1964 and issued in 1965 on the British Parlophone label as albums LPVDX 131 and LPVDX 132, part of the “Voix de L’Orient” series.  Although I have both records, the covers both read LPVDX 131 and Vol 1, not so important as long as you’re interested only in the performance of this musical.  Both records and sleeves are in near mint condition.  The vinyl sounds great - these British Parlophone were very well mastered and pressed.  The inner sleeve is also present (see photo).  The records are Mono recordings.  They came from the estate of a record company executive of Middle Eastern descent, so these were very well cared for.

 This is a difficult to find set in this clean condition - great addition to a Lebanese LP collection!  Please view my other auctions for other Fairuz recordings

Canadian buyers, please note that although we offer shipping through Champlain, NY for our American customers, we are a registered business located in Canada and must therefore charge applicable GST/HST/PST to Canadian buyers - please read further to understand our shipping methodology and note all costs so that there is no misunderstanding when rating shipping costs post-sale.

Please note that shipping is free on fixed price store items within Canada and the 48 contiguous US States.  In the case of an accepted offer, shipping costs will be either charged in full or negotiated with the buyer.

I ship to my US clients through USPS services as long as the value of the item does not exceed $200. For items that sell for over $200.00, I must ship to my U.S. clients using Canada Post. This is due to restrictions outlined in the North American Free Trade Agreement, chapter 3.21.  I am located in Canada but I have a carrier service to bring my parcels directly across the border on either Tuesday or Wednesday to be shipped out of the USPS postal outlet in Champlain, N.Y. 

To my International clients I can ship by either Canada Post or by USPS (in order to use USPS for intl. clients, the items must sell for under $200.00).

Terms of Sale

We do not accept returns unless an item has been significantly not as described.  We describe very thoroughly, both with photos and text, but in the case that an item has been misrepresented, we will accept a return for full refund, including shipping costs.

International customers, please do not ask us to falsify customs documentation:

"Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding / buying.
