It was originally announced as a Record Store Day "Black Friday" exclusive. However, before Black Friday, the other members of the band threatened Manifesto's distributors with legal action if the distributors shipped the records, and the release was suppressed.
The record comes in a thick printed inner sleeve.

A sticker affixed to the shrinkwrap or front of the record sleeve reads: 
"Long out-of-print first album from 1985! Special edition white vinyl! Original recording of "We Care A Lot" MFO 45501"
